Injora Quality

I am always pleased with Injora quality. I have ordered multiple components, tires, axles, shocks, servos wheels and tools. I have had zero issues to date. Great quality and customer service.

Very smooth ride 👌

Grabbed these for the Ascent32 as the first upgrade for it and they made a world of difference. Took away the crazy bounce and my rig climbs alot better without wanting to tumble. Very happy I grabbed these.

Very nice upgrade

Well built, easy to assemble (took me maybe an hour), and drive amazing once you get the perfect amount of oil in them.
Definitely a necessary upgrade

Much better than stock, not perfect.

These Ascent32 shocks from Injora are designed to replace the stock friction shocks that come with the truck. For those not aware, the OEM shocks make the body bounce around like a bobble head doll. It makes the Ascent32 look toy like when crawling over obstacles. These oil shocks from Injora calm down the suspension and dampen those forces. The truck looks and feels more planted and scale.

Installation is very easy, though I highly recommend using a quality 0.05mm driver (the best one you can afford). These are small and delicate parts and care must be taken to avoid damaging them. I used a simple fingernail for quite a bit of the work, as well as precision needle nose pliers made for micro electronics to hold the very tiny tower fasteners. Injora includes all the necessary hardware including spacers and screws, but no extra nuts (so don't lose those). A couple extra screws, pivots, and o-rings are in the package in the event one of these tiny parts gets lost in the rocks.

In terms of performance, that's where we have more of a mixed bag. The stock Ascent 32 is a featherweight nano scale crawler. Tuning shocks for a truck this light takes careful precision. The factory installed light springs (a heavier set is included) are not light enough for the stock weight of the truck. However, adding just a little bit of weight will substantially improve performance. Adding a few upgrades or a brushless system would probably be enough to tip the balance.

With tiny shocks like this getting them to work through its compression cycle can be challenging. I found I had to mount these shocks in as near a vertical position as possible. Laying them back in an attempt to reduce spring rate just made them stick. The best was as vertical as possible (with some weight added to the truck). Even a couple small lead weights are enough to keep the truck planted. Doing this resulted in a significant performance gain (minus the frustrating stock electronics on the Ascent 32, but that isn't Injora's fault).

No, shock oil is not included. You can see some related videos on YouTube about how to refill it.
