INJORA CNC Aluminum Front Rear Bumper with Lights for 1/18 TRX4M Defender (4M-88)

I got the set (front and rear) and I'm absolutely thrilled. It's a significant upgrade compared to the original. The only major drawback is that the body is no longer easy to attach; the whole process is a nerve-wracking one! The problem is the dummy winch on the radiator grille, which gets caught on the bumper when attaching the body. I solved the problem by 3D printing a new grille without a winch (the file is easy to find via Google). I would love it if Injora offered a replacement grille without a winch, since not everyone has a 3D printer.

It's a little tight with the winch but there's a solution. I just put 2 nuts under each screw and now it's perfect

Do not buy this product.

When you install the front bumper, you cannot latch the body to the front of the frame.

I have no idea why they didn't realize this when designing the bumper, or why they continue to sell this product knowing that it does not work as designed.

The front and rear bumper look fantastic, really makes the Defender look more scale and real. However, there are a couple issues. First, neither bumper will work with the carbon fiber LCG chassis without some modification. I had to grind the notch at the back of the chassis ever so slightly to make it wider to get the bumper mount to slide in. In the front, I had to grind off the chassis notch completely to get the bumper mount to fit. Second, as numerous other reviewers have pointed out, the body now requires fiddling to put it on, you lose some of the convivence of the clipless body. Third, the bumper is larger and wider and you are going to lose approach angle. However, if you are after scale looks, I highly recommend this bumper set.

It looks great on the model. The installation and removal of the body is slightly affected, but still ok

Fits perfectly but to remove the body the front needs a bit of adjustment otherwise excellent quality product. Love the look of it. Made my Defender look and handle better.

Aesthetically very beautiful and finished! Very very difficult to close the bodywork, which is usually very fast! They should think of a spacer, as the fake winch bangs in the bumper

Looks great but I can't find a way to get the shell back on the winch blocks it should include some sort of spacer

Adds some extra weight and looks fantastic. Easy to replace. Love the rear lights.

Look awesome

I got the front bumper only, partly to balance a proper spare tyre mounted on the rear. It measures 33 grammes and works well for this purpose.

Pros:

Well-made, looks good.

Cons:

Makes it very inconvenient to put on the body, negating the advantages of the nice 'clipless' design the TRX-4M has. I need to reach under the body and guide the clip. It can't self-align anymore.

It noticeably reduces the approach angle: there are places I can't crawl anymore.

Nice bumper but it is now a little bit tricky to fit the defender body because the winch is veeeery close to the bumper. But it works and I am fine with it.
