This combo was the sauce needed to move the additional wait I put on the vehicle. Was a new ride for me lol
Paired with the MB100 ESC, this is a massive improvement over the stock SXC24 motor (which I do like), especially pushing lots of brass. Throw on an S3 50C 450mah battery and my truck became a trail running goat (with over an hour of trail hopping time)!
I think this is a great combo for the price.

i have 4 of these now
In speed 1 it squats hard likenitbhas power but once it gets crawling it just stops. It doesn't react well to minute throttle response and will bind to a stop unless running on speed 3 which is just way to fast for crawling.
Seems like a bulletproof transmission. I really like the helical gears! Quiet for a steel gear transmission. I use it with the underdrive gears in the axles, so it has a ton of power now. Its great if you run the heavier injora wheels. I just wish they did a version for 1:10 lcg crawlers, with steel helical gears.
All in all, I do recommend this!

Actually you can. Just make sure to run a straight cut spur gear that matches the pinion. I'm currently bolting a fat viper to this transmission as we speak. If you're gonna give advice on the hobby be a little more in depth with people.
