INJORA Purple Viper 1721 Brushless Motor for 1/24 SCX24

Compatibility:

  • ESC: Compatible with INJORA MBL32 ESC, OR30 ESC and QuicRun Mini24 ESC. Not compatible with other ESCs!
  • Transmission: Compatible with stock SCX24 transmission and INJORA transmissions SCX24-130 & WG24
  • Chassis: Not compatible with carbon fiber chassis with angled skid plate. For stock SCX24 chassis, the ESC tray must be trimmed to fit the motor.
  • Battery: 3S batteries are highly recommended for optimal performance and smoother low-speed control.

Note: 

  • Some noise at mid-throttle is normal for the 1721 motor due to its high-speed, open-rotor design. This does not indicate a defect.
  • The 1721 Purple Viper is best for rigs under 700g. For heavier rigs, we recommend the 2204 Fat Viper for stronger drag brake performance.

5 stars! Such a great set up! Very Very minor cogging but nearly unnoticeable compared to a brushed set up. Im running it on a 300mah 3s battery with no issue. Amazing slow crawl and great top end speed. Overall, Very happy with purchase and performance.

Cogged very much when I got it. I think it was Hype RC on youtube who informed that vacuuming the dip switches made it work. So I did that, and it started working.

Still cogging a bit after startup. Startup is very smooth, but applying a bit more throttle and it'll cog. Not after that. So small cogging at low speed, Letting off the throttle a bit or giving a bit more power and it's smooth as silk!

Remember to program the lipo cutoff, mine was set at 0. Also motor kv was set wrong. So check the settings. Best value for money at this price.

Does this bolt straight onto the stock SCX24 transmission without a motor plate?

If you haven't figured it out yet, you replace the motor plate with the supplied one. The motor ends up on the other side of the gearbox. Good luck
