works perfectly on stock axles, i switched to bearings in an axle i changed an od gear, and put grease on the teeth, this might be the reason why yalls are crusty and not working

Bought the 16%. reduction gears , a little concerned with negative comments when using TRX 4 M standard axles , perfect fit and very smooth rotation didn’t have to use the 2 shims included in the package but will check after a couple of runs after bedding in

These do not work with my stock Trx4m axels. Extremely grindy when turning by hand while your installing the new gears. The included shims didn’t help. Be warned.

I bought one set from here and another from Amazon. One of them has a really bad binding issue ands the other is super smooth. I am using the Injora black brass diff covers on both my axles. But once I tighten the diff cover, one of them starts binding on one half of the larger gear. Luckily the upgraded motor/transmission gears have plenty of torque to overcome this, but it feels really bad when turning it by hand

As normall I like Injora stuff, but those gears are not really compatible with original Traxas axles, they run rough , you cannot shim it properly, so for now I run car with original gears.

These are a must if your looking to make your driveline bullet proof

So far great gears, running them in my TRX4Ms with crawler transmission gearset, Injora front differential OD gears and stock ratio rear gears, love it! Perfect fit in the axles and bearings, greased them with Lucas Red and Tacky grease.

I've had mine for awhile now and no issues at all I run the 9% overdrive in both front and rear axles it helped out a lot added some speed and helps a lot when stuck to bump it out I added some white lithium grease and they are really quiet compared to the stock plastic gears

Bought a set of these and have put them to good use already. These allow my defender to crawl at a true crawling speed with the stick gearing in the transmission. The weight and durability is worth the purchase! Only draw back is that there is binding on the from axel when I lift the truck off the ground and give it gas. But, when overlanding at full speed or crawling it does not seem to bind.

With stock gears my truck would tend to push from the rear, due to the lack of weight in the front. With the 9% overdrive in the front it improved my uphill turning. It now pulls a lil from the front. Small difference, but it definitely helped my lines. Gears are machined well, nice fit and finish. However when turning the wheels by hand, the helical gears seems to be clunky in forward but smooth in reverse. Also with the OD the wheels have more rotational play. About 1/5 turn of slop with OD and maybe 1/8 turn of slop with stock gears. I havent had any issues just something to note. I differently recommend this to improve uphill steering

Good install, definitely dont over tighten the Diff covers otherwise they will rub. They fit perfectly with the INJORA Bearing kit. They feel stronger and are very good quality. I cant tell if they are more quiet or not.
